This rare trade card is from the 1876 Centennial International Exhibition which was held in Philadelphia. It is in very good to excellent condition and features the following views: Carpenter's Hall, Agricultural Hall, Independence Hall, the Main Exhibition Building, Machinery Hall, Art Gallery, Horticultural Hall, a Bird's Eye View of Centennial Grounds & a Map of Philadelphia. It includes the measurements of the buildings as well as the dates of the Exhibition. This card was patented by Longacre & Company, Philadelphia and dated February 15, 1876. The reverse features: an advertisement for "Chas. S. Caffrey-Manufacturer of elegant light carriages. This trade card measures approx. 5 1/2" x 3 1/4".
