This original trade card is from the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition which was held in Chicago. It is in very good condition. The front features Christopher Columbus laying on a "Marks Adjustable Folding Chair" with little gnomes around him while Uncle Sam walks in the door. The caption in the lower right corner says "At the World's Fair, Uncle Sam-What have you found now Christopher Columbus-Ah! At last we have discovered Solid Comfort". It is signed Bigelow Litho Co., Springfield, Mass. The reverse features an advertisement for Marks Adjustable Folding Chair. This trade card measures approx. 5 1/4" x 3 1/4".
