This original trade card is from the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition which was held in Chicago. It is in excellent condition. The front features three young Roumanian women in their fanciful dress around a Singer Machine, which has helped to embroider their costumes. This is part of a 36 card series which were handed out at the Fair. The reverse features a brief paragraph about Roumania. This trade card has a Copyright 1892 by The Singer Manufacturing Co. and measures approx. 3" x 5 1/4".
