This original postcard is from the 1933 Century Of Progress (Chicago World's Fair) which was held in Chicago. It is in excellent condition and the front features the "Air Liner Is Flying City". The reverse side features a postcard format, which is unused and a paragraph that says "With its passenger accommodations, storage space, its power, heating & lighting plants, its telephone system and other features, this three-mile-a-minute Boeing Wasp-powered plane of United Air Lines represents the latest in airplane design and construction. Ten passengers occupy comfortable reclining chairs in the cabin, which is in charge of a stewardess. The pilot & mate control the plane from the cockpit. Mail, express and baggage are carried in the compartments at the front and rear" and measures approx. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2".
