This original postcard is from the 1935 California Pacific Exposition which was held in San Diego, California. It is in excellent condition but is slightly yellowed. The front features "Standard Oil Tower To The Sun". The reverse features a postcard format, which is unused and there is a paragraph that says "A tower of striking beauty, soaring 108 feet at the north of the Plaza de America. It is of Mayan architecture and known as the Tower to the Sun, dedicated to our Western National Parks". This postcard is by "Western Publishing & Novelty Co., Los Angeles, California and measures approx. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2".
