This original postcard is from the 1939 New York World's Fair which was held in New York City, New York. It is in excellent condition. The front features "The General Electric Building". The reverse features a postcard format, which is unused and there is a paragraph that says "This exhibit building features three general sections, one devoted to product display, one having a House Of Magic auditorium, and Steinmetz Hall, in which 10 million volts of artificial lightning will be generated and discharged in spectacular fashion for Fair visitors". This postcard is by "C.T. Art-Colortone, Reg. U.S. Pat. Off., Made by Curt Teich & Co. & Frank E. Cooper, 258 Broadway, New York, N.Y. and measures approx. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2".
