This original postcard is from the 1939 New York World's Fair which was held in New York City, New York. It is in very good condition. The front features "Textiles Building". The reverse features a postcard format, which is used & has postage. There is a paragraph that says "This ultra-modern structure covers an acre and a half of ground adjacent to the Long Island Railroad Station and two Fair entrances. It will contain displays of clothing fabrics, patterns, and textile machinery. The end of the fin will be used as a screen for five minute movies". This postcard is Published by "Tichnor Brothers Inc" and measures approx. 5 1/4" x 3 1/4".
