This original postcard is from the 1939 New York World's Fair which was held in New York City, New York. It is in excellent condition. The front features "The Marine Transportation Hall". The reverse features a postcard format, which is unused and there is a paragraph that says "Twin ship prows, each 80 feet high, give a nautical flavor to the main entrance. Sea effect is further enhanced by boat decks, 150-foot mast and large basin for display of yachts and cruisers.". This postcard is by "C.T. Art-Colortone, Reg. U.S. Pat. Off., Made by Curt Teich & Co. & Interborough News Co, 525 West 52nd St., New York, N.Y. and measures approx. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2".
