This original postcard is from the 1933 Century Of Progress (Chicago World's Fair) which was held in Chicago. It is in very good condition and the front features the "Airplane View Of The Hall Of Science". The reverse side features a postcard format, which is unused and a paragraph that says "Recognized as the principal building of the World's Fair. A superb example of modern architecture. It has the form of a gigantic letter U. The general effect of this Temple of Science is one of order and massiveness. An outstanding feature is the carillion tower at the southwest corner. The building covers an area of more than eight acres or 400,000 square feet" and measures approx. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2".
