This original postcard is from the 1933 Century Of Progress (Chicago World's Fair) which was held in Chicago. It is in excellent condition and the front features "The Sears Roebuck Building". The reverse side features a postcard format, which is unused and a paragraph that says "A Striking Building In Gray & Blue. It Is Windowless, But Has A Circulating Air System With An Air Moving Capacity Equal To That Of 1800 Ordinary Six-Room Residences. It Has A 150-Foot Tower And The Grounds Are Beautifully Landscaped. Exhibits, Pictures & Demonstrations Tell The Story Of Merchandising. There Is A Children's Playground, Restaurant, Rest Rooms & An Emergency Hospital". This postcard measures approx. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2".
