This original postcard is from the 1931 Livestock Exposition (November 28 to December 5, 1931). It is in fair condition with major wear to the corners & the back of the postcard has two drawings and the front features the "Chicago Union Stock Yard-4 H Hitch In Court Of Stock Yard Inn". The reverse side features a postcard format, which is unused and has a paragraph that says "This 8-horse team of ton-weight Clydesdale geldings is widely known as the 4-H Hitch. The famous 6-horse team of The Union Stock Yard & Transit Company of Chicago is converted into this special hitch to head the 4-H Club parades at the leading fairs & the International Live Stock Exposition" and measures approx. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2".
