This picture postcard is from the Riverview Park in Chicago. It is in very good condition but there is slight wear. The front features a man & woman on a train with a sign below them that says "Off To California" and along the side it has the date written "June 21, 1942". The reverse features a postcard format with writing that says "June 21, 1942-Helen (Age 24) & Ray (Age 25)". This picture postcard measures approx. 3 1/4" x 5 1/4" and this park was known as "The World's Largest Amusement Park In Chicago". |
