Central Mall Postcard (1939 New York World's Fair) This original postcard is from the 1939 New York World's Fair which was held in New York City, New York. It is in very good condition. The front features "The Central Mall". The reverse features a postcard format, which is used & has postage and there is a paragraph that says "This picture shows the Central Mall of the New York World's Fair, a 2,000-foot esplanade lined with 250 trees and hundreds of benches arranged alongside five lagoons. The latter form setting for groups of sculptured symbolical figures, the huge portrait statue of George Washington at his inauguration, the largest Sun Dial in the world, and at top the Perisphere, largest ball ever constructed by mankind, and the Trylon, a 65-story triangular shaft. About 25 of the largest exhibit buildings face upon the tree-lined area". This postcard is by "C.T. Art-Colortone, Reg. U.S. Pat. Off., Made by Curt Teich & Co. and measures approx. 3 1/2" x 5 1/2".

General Electric Building Postcard (1939 New York Fair) This original postcard is from the 1939 New York World's Fair which was held in New York City, New York. It is in excellent condition. The front features "The General Electric Building". The reverse features a postcard format, which is unused and there is a paragraph that says "This exhibit building features three general sections, one devoted to product display, one having a House Of Magic auditorium, and Steinmetz Hall, in which 10 million volts of artificial lightning will be generated and discharged in spectacular fashion for Fair visitors". This postcard is by "C.T. Art-Colortone, Reg. U.S. Pat. Off., Made by Curt Teich & Co. & Frank E. Cooper, 258 Broadway, New York, N.Y. and measures approx. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2".

Textile Building Postcard (1939 New York World's Fair) This original postcard is from the 1939 New York World's Fair which was held in New York City, New York. It is in very good condition. The front features "Textiles Building". The reverse features a postcard format, which is used & has postage. There is a paragraph that says "This ultra-modern structure covers an acre and a half of ground adjacent to the Long Island Railroad Station and two Fair entrances. It will contain displays of clothing fabrics, patterns, and textile machinery. The end of the fin will be used as a screen for five minute movies". This postcard is Published by "Tichnor Brothers Inc" and measures approx. 5 1/4" x 3 1/4".

The front features "Riders Of The Elements". The reverse features a postcard format, which is unused and there is a paragraph that says "Symbolizing man's conquest over natural obstacles and his triumph in establishing safe and fast means of transportation. Riders of the Elements provides a fitting decoration to the Court of Ships. The Aviation Building provides a suitable background to this statue". This postcard was made exclusively for the Exposition Souvenir Corp. and measures approx. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2".

The front features "The Marine Transportation Hall". The reverse features a postcard format, which is unused and there is a paragraph that says "Twin ship prows, each 80 feet high, give a nautical flavor to the main entrance. Sea effect is further enhanced by boat decks, 150-foot mast and large basin for display of yachts and cruisers.". This postcard is by "C.T. Art-Colortone, Reg. U.S. Pat. Trylon & Perisphere Postcard (New York World's Fair) This original postcard is from the 1939 New York World's Fair which was held in New York City, New York. It is in excellent condition. The front features "Theme Center - The Trylon and Perisphere". The reverse features a postcard format, which is unused but is written on and there is a paragraph that says "The most absolutely unique buildings at the Fair are the Trylon and Perisphere, the Theme Center. The Perisphere is a 200 ft. ball, the largest ever created by mankind. Inside the sphere the visitor will view from a revolving platform suspended in mid-air, a dramatization of the World of Tomorrow. The 700-foot triangular Trylon at the left will serve as a beacon for the Fair". This postcard measures approx. 3 1/2" x 5 1/2".
